As an extension and enrichment activity for the end of their unit on A Christmas Carol, Mrs. Wall’s 7th grade Gifted ELA students attended “A Dickens of a Party" today. Students had to research and use Victorian traditions and table etiquette. They also had to portray a character from A Christmas Carol and act in character for the entire time. After their meal, they played Victorian parlor games, which they researched as well. A special guest appearance by CMS’ very own “Ebeneezer Scrooge” was a highlight of the morning!
