Baton Rouge STEM will be hosting a STEM festival at Jackson Community Park on May 13, 2023. This will be one of a series of STEM festivals taking place across the parish this spring in partnership with BREC.
We are working in partnership with BREC to help expand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) exposure for youth throughout the parish. We see this in a synergistic way. It is a great opportunity to bring STEM programming to neighborhoods across our community through our park system. We are grateful for BREC’s vision and foresight.
The Community STEM Festival will feature multiple hands-on STEM activities that will provide attendees with illustrations on how STEM is present in their everyday lives while providing inspiration for ways they might engage in STEM in college or as a career.
