Department of Student Services

Student Services is responsible for the general supervision of the system's transportation, textbook, and building/grounds program. Conducts hearings relative to student suspensions and expulsions. Works with community agencies to secure food, clothing, eyeglasses, etc., for children of families unable to provide these necessities. Responsible for school assignments, out of district requests, non-resident, out-of-parish living arrangements, custody issues, and school attendance and truancy.
